`appConfig.backend` with the package defaults merged in — the shipped
components read content (plan catalog, labels, brand) through this, so a
partial user config is always safe to destructure. Reactive via
`useAppConfig` (HMR updates flow through).

#### Returns

`BackendAppConfig`
